Nokia notebook with fantastic Look

Nokia may actually make real notebooks, instead of making smartphones that look like laptops in past few years.


In a recent interview Nokia's CEO Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo confirmed that the mobile phone massive is considering putting the Symbian OS in laptops. Nokia Likes to call its high-end smartphones “multimedia computers” a term we've never really taken a liking to, although a few years from now, we may in conclusion see something from the company that will qualify for that title.

Microsoft Vista SP 2 RC Coming Next Week

Microsoft has announced the Release Candidate for Windows Vista Service Pack 2. The second Vista Service Pack will be available publicly via TechNet next week. This update will add support for newer hardware and emerging standards states Brandon LeBlanc, Microsoft's windows communications manager in a post on official Windows Team Blog.

 The much awaited Windows Vista Service Pack 2 release candidate aims to improve compatibility for non-Microsoft applications, system performance, support for new hardware and reliability. Some of the changes include more non-Microsoft applications compatibility with Windows Vista after this Service Pack 2 update.

Google Joins Twitter

It's hard to think of a brand more synonymous with Web communication than Google, considering the company's domination of the search market space. But as busy as the Mountain View, CA-based company has been with its new toys as of late -- Android-based phones, new Web advertising initiatives, a customized Web browser -- it's sorely neglected its account on one of the Web's most up-and-coming communication platforms: Twitter, or the "YouTube of real-time search," as suggested by John Battelle.

Combine Twitter's ramping up of its real-time search capabilities with the service's core metrics, nearly 2.7 million U.S. visitors for the month of December 2008 alone, and a potent picture emerges. In addition, the company not only turned down a $500 million offer from Facebook in November, but it's gone ahead and raised an additional $35 million in funding from its venture capital partners just earlier this month.
